How to sync your Shopping Cart customer's information with your Database Marketing account


Whenever someone purchases from your Shopping Cart, they fill out a form that requires them to fill in their contact information, like their email address, phone number and postal addres. You can you feed these details into your Database Marketing account, allowing you to send them Email and SMS Marketing Campaigns advertising more of your products.

To sync your customer's information with your Database Marketing account:

  1. Click on Shop Settings when you are logged into your Website account.
  2. Click on the General Tab.
  3. Change the Synchronise with Database Marketing field to Yes. 
  4. Click on Edit Contact Fields.
  5. Select the Groups you want to automatically add your customers too. These are the Subscriptions Groups that you set up in your Database Marketing account. For more information on how to do this, view the Help article Creating a Subscription Group
  6. For the rest of the fields, select which Custom Field you'd like to assign this information to. The fields in the drop down boxes are all the Custom Fields that you have set up in your Database Marketing account. For more information on these, view the Help article Creating a Custom Field.
  7. Select Go back to shop settings page.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Save General Settings.
