Membership Trigger: Remove Members From A Subscription Group


Navigating to The Membership

1.A - Login to thewebconsole, from the dashboard click Settings.

1.B - From settings click Member manager v2 and choose membership types.

1.C - Click Edit on the Membership Type you wish to add the tigger to.

1.D - Click the Membership Type Trigger Tab.


Adding the Trigger

2.A - Click Add A New Trigger.

2.B - Add a trigger name, this should be relevant and easily distinguishable from other triggers, we suggest “Remove Member From Subscription Groups”.

2.C - Add a Trigger Group of “When Member Status Is Set To”

2.D - Set a “Condition” of “Disabled”. This will make sure that the trigger only removes the member from the group once they have been set to disabled.

2.E - Set an “Action” of “Update Member Groups”.

2.F- You will now be promoted with an “Add Or Remove” option, in this trigger we want to choose “Remove From Group”.

2.G - You will now see a “Contact Group” selection, simply tick the box of each “Subscription Group” you wish the member to be removed from upon being made disabled.

2.H - To ensure the tigger fires make sure the Active option is set top “Yes”.
