How To Create Subscription Groups

A Subscription Group is a way to organise and group together your contacts that are similar in some way. They may be the attendees to one of your events, contacts who've shown interest in a particular product, or customers that are in the same region. By grouping your contacts into Subscription Groups it will make your marketing and email campaigns easier to organise.

To create a Subscription Group

1.A Login to thewebconsole, from the dashboard click Settings.

1.B - From settings click Contact Database in the left menu structure and choose Subscription groups.

1.C - Click Add Group.

1.D - Name the Group, this should be relevant and easily distinguishable from other groups, for example Newsletter Subscribers or Gold Membership Members.

1.E - Choose whether or not the Subscription Group Is Visible to Contact. The Is Visible To Contact field is set to “yes” by default, this means the contact can unsubscribe from this group at any time, if you want this option to be removed from the user simply change yes to “no”.

1.F - Group Colour allows you to colour code the group.

1.G - Once steps 1.A - 1.F are completed click save.
