Help! The images in my email campaign are too big.

We often get asked why images in email campaigns are too large when you send yourself a test campaign, or send out the email campaign to your contacts. Most often, people who mention this are viewing the email in Outlook. Unfortunately, Outlook has difficulty reading images that you have resized in the email edit window, and will enlarge them to the original size of the image.

There is one certain way of avoiding this, and that is to resize the image before uploading it to your email campaign. You can do this using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, or your own preferred image editing program. When you have the image at the correct size, upload it to thewebconsole and insert it into your email campaign. Do not change the size of it in the edit window.

Always send a test campaign to yourself before emailing it to your contacts. If you have followed these instructions, and are still having challenges getting the correct image size, then contact our support team who will be glad to help.
