How To Generate A Google Review Link For Your Business

Google reviews are a fantastic way to increase consumer confidence in your business. This article will show you how to generate a link that is a one click process for your clients to post their feedback.

Creating A One Click Link For Google Reviews

Asking clients for reviews is something you should all be doing, however we need to make it as easy as we can for your client to complete their feedback.

By creating a single click link that clients can click straight through to the Rate And Review option will help your conversion rate for reviews.

Create Your Link

  • Go To Whitespark Link Generator (https://whitespark.ca/google-review-link-generator/)
  • Enter your business name in the search bar on the map.
  • Select your business from the drop down options.
  • Create A Link For Your Google Reviews
  • Once you have selected your business Whitespark will generate a link in the box under the map. (shown below)
  • Get Your Review Link
  • Copy this URL to your clipboard or into notepad or another app that won't apply styling (IE Word may apply styling on save so some kind of basic text editor like notepad is better)
  • Use this link in your email template.
  • When its clicked this link will direct the user to your GMB account AND open a popup ready to be completed.

In the past there was the capability to edit the URL so that a 5 star rating was the default, however Google has wised up to this and that is no longer an option.
